The Kosovo Society of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists is pleased to announce that World Anaesthesia Day 2025 will also mark the 70th anniversary of the WFSA (1955–2025) and the 25th anniversary of KSAI.

The event will take place on 16–17 October 2025 at Hotel Emerald, Prishtina, with lectures, discussions and professional activities involving local and international experts.

This is an important moment for the anaesthesia profession – to reflect on its contribution so far and to keep improving patient care.

The Kosovo Society of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists is honoured to announce that, on the occasion of World Anaesthesia Day – 16 October 2025, the fifth CEEA course (Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology) will be held. CEEA is an international continuing education programme for anaesthesiologists and intensivists, organised under the patronage of ESAIC (European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care). CEEA comprises 6 course cycles of lectures, workshops and interactive expert discussions, aimed at updating knowledge and raising the quality of patient care. CEEA is held in 50 European centres, and in Kosovo it has a long tradition dating back to 2007. Our Society invites all anaesthesiology and intensive care colleagues to take part in this important educational and professional activity, to be held on 16–17 October at Hotel Emerald, Prishtina.
